I bought Mass Control by Frank Kern last year at about this same time in 2008. I personally feel Mass Control was the best investment I’ve ever made in my internet marketing education. Frank is not only entertaining, but he usually delivers on his content.
My review of Mass Control in the following paragraphs is completely unsolicited, and there is no affiliate link at the bottom of this review since his affiliate program is closed to the public (as far as I know), but I still find it important to give you all some details on who this program is for, and who it’s not for.
MY Results with Mass Control
Because of Mass Control, I successfully launched my first big time Internet Marketing niche product to a large audience in 2008. You might have heard of it before, it’s called Equity Millions.
I launched Equity Millions (which is not currently open to new members) with several JV partners on my side that I would have had no clue how to approach without Frank’s advice. Equity Millions, while not my first ever product, was my first real success marketing to our crowd on any sort of impressive scale. My JV partners included names like The Rich Jerk, Ryan Moran, and several other big names you’ve all heard of before, and the launch was a success entirely because I followed Mass Control to a “T”.
The most valuable part of the program was my trip to San Diego for the conference. It was there that I got plugged into my first “mastermind group” and we all still meet bi-weekly to discuss our marketing endeavors, and critique each other’s work…The value of being in this group has no price tag that can be placed on it. It’s of immense value to me.
So I think it goes without saying that the content itself is awesome. So, lets take a look at whether or not Mass Control 2.0 is for you or not.
From what I can tell, Mass Control 2.0 is the physical version of Mass Control 1.0, along with a few added bonuses such as the module titled “Crowd Control”, which if I’m not mistaken was sold seperately a few months back by Kern (or maybe it was a bonus for something else?)…
I’ll find out soon because Mass Control customers are supposed to get 2.0 for free in a few weeks, which I’m totally stoked about.
I don’t know what the price tag will be this time around though. Mass Control 1.0 was a cool $2,000, and for some people that’s going to be a big hinderance this time around in this down economy. I don’t see Kern selling 2.o for LESS than he sold 1.0, especially since it has new content, and tools, etc…
But assuming it is $2,000 or so, you have to ask yourself the question, “Am I willing to focus on implementing this product, or will it sit on the shelf?”…
I know a lot of other people who bought Mass Control, and didn’t do anything with it, and as a consequence aren’t very happy with it. That’s why this is MY BLOG though, because I give MY opinion.
I can personally attribute my current success, at least in part, to purchasing Mass Control…It has paid for itself many many many times over.
Why you shouldn’t buy Mass Control:
1.) You’re using your rent money to buy it
2.) You might be losing your job soon, or recently have been laid off and have no forseable income headed your way
3.) You don’t want to spend several weeks/months to properly implement, and roll out a large Product Launch in your niche.
What’s inside Mass Control?
4 Main Training Modules. Each module is set up in chronological order, and comes with homework assignments for you to complete before moving onto the nex module. Again, you’ll get out of it what you put into it…
Mass Control Covers the following:
- How to find a market
- How to position yourself as an authority figure
- How to get JV partners lined up for a “Unified Front” during your launch
- How to become the center of attention in any market instantly
- How to manage the craziness of launch day
- And all the cracks that need filling in between.
Mass Control Doesn’t Cover…
Much techy stuff…
Much detail about traffic generation outside of JV partners. Frank has a few tips he gives out about PPC, and that sort of thing that you usually hear about, but I didn’t learn a lot about building a list from scratch, and how to drive leads through your funnel, PRIOR to starting your prelaunch.
The good news is that if you implement the whole thing correctly, you won’t really need any of that.
I will say this though, it’ll be a lot harder if you don’t presently have a customer list or prospect list to market your new product launch to than if you do. It can be done (as proved by my Equity Millions launch last year), but you’ll need to have a few angles on the market to leverage if you’re starting from scratch.
If you DO have a prospect/customer list of any size, you’ll likely be able to make back the money you spend on the course within the first week I’d say. If you can’t, then your list is complete crap…It really doesn’t take much effort.
So, if I’m not an affiliate of Mass Control, why do I go out of my why to write such a detailed article about a product launch that I won’t make any money from?
Because I believe in it, thats why!
If you haven’t bought Mass Control yet, get it this time around if you can afford it. If you can’t afford it, but have a semi quality list of a few thousand emails or more, buy it anyway, because it’ll pay for itself several times over.
Thats my honest review of Mass Control, and without a doubt it gets the TacticTester.Com stamp of approval!
Best of luck!

Posted on February 10th, 2009 at 10:33 pmI didn’t get Mass Control 1.0 last year. I had too much stuff going on closing out my offline career, and just felt I didn’t have time for it. Now that the day job is behind me, I’m excited about the release of Mass Control 2.0. I’m surprised there aren’t more affiliates offering bonuses. I remember there being a bunch of them last year, but have only found two offering bonuses for the new version. If you know of anyone offering a bonus, I’d appreciate you posting a comment at masscontrol-2.com

Posted on February 10th, 2009 at 10:52 pmWill do John. If I knew how to sign up for the affiliate program you can bet I’d be offering some parallel bonuses based on my Equity Millions launch experience.
I also have yet to notice many bonuses being offered. Last year I bought my copy through the Rich Jerk and got the playboy mansion mastermind DVD, (even though I threw away the playboy party section)…

Posted on February 15th, 2009 at 4:20 pmI didn’t realize Mass Control was all about launching a product—dah! I guess I won’t be purchasing the products. Thx for the heads up.
