The Lazy Marketer by Chris RempelSubscribe Subscribe

Ok well I have to say I was a bit late on this, but its very suiting for me to give you the low down anyway because the product is in all honesty a timeless one.

One of the reasons this did so well and continues to, is because of Chris’ no hype sales letter. He basically give an overview of the entire product on his sales page, and tells you exactly what he does to make money.

Honestly, the ebook wasn’t a whole lot different than what you see right on thelazymarketer.com’s sales page. He did go into detail on how to find markets with buyers (but Nuclear Niches covers the subject in more detail). The coolest thing in the ebook is the section where Chris talks about how he made just over 9k submitting a software app to like a crap load of freeware directories and got loads of traffic.

BUT

I’ve tried that too. I found that the software app was better for building a list than it was for making direct affiliate commissions distributing it how he says to do it. I personally tried this with EquityMillions.com during pre-launch.

I created a piece of software called the “domain investigator” for people to look up all the research they needed to have done before buying a website such as the PR, the age, incoming links, alexa rank, who is, etc…It was and still is a sweet little app that only cost me $250 to develop at rentacoder.com.

In fact, I believe you can still download it from the Equity Millions blog if you opt in.

I got the software Chris talks about in his guide, and had the bot distributed across all the freeware networks I could find, and got minimal traffic from it. IT WAS a great giveaway during the prelaunch of Equity Millions last year, but thats basically the best of what I got out of it. A good freebie…

This isn’t to say that Chris’ specific instructions won’t work if you follow what the Lazy Marketer says to do, but my experience was that its an iffy marketing tactic that’s worth a try in different markets. Best to keep it out of the IM niche from my own experience.

The Lazy Marketer did have some other solid pieces of info, and for the beginner marketer, you can’t go wrong considering the book is only $29.95. BUT BUYER BEWARE, there are TONS of affiliate links in this ebook. Now to Chris’ defence, all the links for stuff he recommends are actually quality stuff you should think about buying if you want to follow his system to a “T”, but there most definately is some further cost involved with implementing this manual. (Hey, they can’t all be FREE right?)

My only other complaint/critique of the Lazy Marketer, is that it isn’t so much for the “Lazy” person. A lot of Chris’ numbers are what they are because he’s spent time replicating this system on a regular basis, and he owns several of his mini “authority sites” that pull in a handfull of commissions each per day, and it all adds up.

So unless you’re ready to do some heavy outsourcing, roll up your sleeves and get ready to get to work if you expect to turn this investment into some cash.

Is it worth $29.95?

For most people, yes. For the super advanced person, you’ll probably enjoy the read but will know most of the content already. If you’re looking for a place to get started and you want to dedicate some time to focusing on one proven method to make some cashthis is your book.

I do enjoy Chris’ other stuff, and he’s a great teacher so my feedback on the lazy marketer isn’t meant as negative. Just honest. I hope this post helps you make an informed decision about whether or not The Lazy Marketer is right for you.
